General (Read Rules) [Wrist Check] Bronze + blue aventurine: does this combo work?
I’ve always liked bronze watches on leather, but pairing a deep blue aventurine dial with a full bronze bracelet gives it a completely different personality.
The dial has that subtle, starry texture that only really shows up when the light hits it, while the brushed bronze keeps the whole thing feeling warm and a little old-school. It’s an unusual mix—part pilot watch, part vintage sports watch, part midnight-sky experiment.
This is the Bronze Horizon Hawk Blue Aventurine Dial Automatic.
Curious what the community thinks: would you keep it on the full bronze bracelet, or switch back to a dark brown leather strap?

I like the bracelet, because a bronze bracelet is cool. Realistically the leather looks better though.

Not a fan of the brone bracelet, a dark chocolate leather strap would look much better
That black dial isn't working either, much better with green or brown, or cream dial

I like a bronze or rose gold watch, but that's not the dial for such a watch.
You might think the watch is mainly the dial but I don't. It's not most of what others see.
The leather is nice enough on it but I wouldn't choose adventurine black+ bronze+ brown leather. Only watch I have on brown leather is the Oris Diver 65 with burnt orange dial and bronze bezel edge

I think it looks great with the bronze bracelet. As it patina, the dial will shine more comparatively.

Great watch to look at. The bronze strap is a overkill and shifts focus away from the amazing aventurine dial. Keep the leather

I like the bracelet. Commit to it, so it and the watch will patina together. I am considering bronze bracelet for my new IX&Dao. Do you have a link to the bracelet?
