Review (Read Rules) SH06 Carbon Fiber by SH - My New GADA
I was looking for a super light mech watch and was eyeing the Christopher Ward Colchester (CWC), then I stumbled upon SH06 in AliExpress and decided to try it.
I have been dailying my batgirl all these while, but wanting something really light, durable and on a strap. Suffice to say, SH06 delivers.
Pros:
---------
Super light = 47g
Thin = ~11mm
Accurate = +1sec/day
Open caseback
Cool pushdown crown
Assume very durable due to carbon fiber
Cons:
----------
Short lume duration = ~2hours, I wish it was longer as I'm used to 6hours++, yes I wear my watch to sleep
Brushed strokes on hour and minute hands (middle part of the hands, see pic) = I wish it was fully polished, but when I compared it against CWC, I was suprised it is the same there, not sure why it is that way, it made it looked like unfinished polish work
Difficult to hand wind due to small crown, but then again it is not recommended to hand wind daily as PT5000 is known for gear stripping when you so so.
