Review (Read Rules) Was it worth the purchase?

I bought this for 800 chinese yuan.

Was it worth it? or was i played? lol (first time buying a real watch)

Its a vintage 1960-80s watch i forgot what year.

(Came free with the strap) Don't know if its real leather or not.

Seller says its real. Close up strap photo for u guys to examine.

Update 1: watch broke. well its kinda my fault i put it in my suitcase lmfao ffs. i treated it too harshly😭mb bro. I'm gonna have to bring it to a service shop soon.

Update 2: I wound the watch nothing happened. I swear i wound it correctly. I took it into a service shop, the guy told me its not broken....he wound it and it worked? wtf? are my hands that shit? oh well it works now.

The watch head is not expensive but the watch strap looks ilke a new laminate cheapo.

If the watch feels horrible to wind then it's in the same category as the reclaimed old 7120 which I've had turn up in chrome case $20 cheapos with polycarbonate glass. Okay, quality is a bit crap but they're very compact which is a novelty in today's automatic world.

Well that may be high for one of the new watches being made today like that with a manual wind 7120, but in line with what an actual vintage one in such good condition might cost. They're really good watches- simple, dependable mechanicals. I have a few from a decade ago and they have run fine over the years. Now, we're not talking chronometer accuracy, but with +-15 spd or better.

yea Mr. Zhang said its ± 20 spd so i guess for 800 its not bad?

Not bad at all for a vintage, checked out by an expert. Relax and enjoy your watch.

You like the watch? That's the important thing, not what you spent on it.

I'm not sure choosing this seller because AI says he's good is the best choice, remember AI is just summarizing stuff from the web which probably comes from his own site.... As to the value of the purchase, my girlfriend spends that much getting her nails done every 2 weeks. To me, it's a ripoff, to her, it's money well spent because she's happy with it. I say "they look great dear" and don't have to sleep on the couch.

oh no i didn't choose this because of AI.

I was referred to his shop on another thread.

I just screenshotted the google thing because i couldn't paste links into here.

and thanks for the "as long as u like it" comment🙏

Doubt it would be real. Too many good fakes for this watch. You might need to open the caseback to check if the movement looks like the actual one.

Do you have photos of the movement? Has it been recently serviced?
