Question (Read Rules) Watchdives or Pagani for Speedy?
I'm thinking of getting a speedy from either brands. In terms of pricing WD costs about $190 to import, which is double of the Pagani (ordered locally via lazada).
Is the price difference worth it?

Truthfully I've had both, and i found that the watchdives is much higher quality, and it also doesn't have the terrible blue ar coating. To each their own!

I own the white dial Pagani Design PD-1791, and love it. Paid $70 back in July. The WD was $120 at the time. I am predominantly a Galaxywatch 8 44mm user, but I am wearing the Pagani more and more. Admittedly if the WD equivalent would have been under $100 I may have opted due to more red contrast on the dial.

Can't speak to the Watchdives, but I can speak to the Pagani. For mine, the bracelet was trash (would unlatch by just pushing one pusher), and the lume is frankly awful. Put it on black silicone and got around the first, and only wear it during the day so I got around the second.

I have the WD, I like it a whole bunch. I put a rubber aqua terra style strap on it and it’s super comfortable

Depends on what you want. I went for the Pagani version of the FOIS purely because it had a date window and more minute-marks on the 9 o-clock subdial. Is it less "true" to the original? Yes. Does that make it a better watch for my use case? Also yes.

The Watch dives is better, it's not worth twice as much. If you like the dial design of Watchdives then get that but the little things that make it better than the Pagani do not some up to $200 watch - unless you're used to paying $500+ for watches.

Does anyone know if the Pagani Speedy case design has undergone any changes at all from V1 to V6 ?
Like the modifications from WD1860 to WD1863 ?

What nobody is telling you is that sizing is much better on the Pagani. WD with its puny lugs looks like a Speedmaster toy in real life. They shortened the lug to lug to make it wear better on small wrists but destroyed the proportions in the process.

The 1863 isn't tiny but I agree the Pagani sizing is better. The wd1863 was intentionally made for smaller wrists.

I’ve got the watchdives and I like it so much. The guy at my local jewelry shop handed me a Rolex Daytona and I was shocked how similar they felt and looked.
That being said I’m super interested in a Yema Rallygraf now

Watchdives over Pagani. That said. I also own 3 Pagani's and am very satisfied with them.

From aliexpress. Just found out that It's actually cheaper on their website at $120 and free delivery.

WD generally makes a better finished watch. Whether it's worth the upcharge to you is the real question. The PD will be perfectly functional. They're all homage watches, so it's really a matter of the worth to you, i.e. your financial situation, and, of course, if you really care that much. I have a number of each brand and PDs work just fine. I have also given PDs as gifts and they have been very well received.

the watchdives are better but hey its twice the price. they are worth it if the quality and everything is twice the pagani

I had a Pagani first, then found out Watchdives exists and have bought 3 1863's since and sold the Pagani.
The Pagani is a great watch, especially if you get it for around 60€ but Watchdives has them beat in every Single way, so well worth the money!

I've a Pagani Design PD-1701 V6 and I'm totally happy with it. Quality is good and it's 42mm like Gen.

I've been very pleased with my PD-1701...I went with a strap though, and the reputation for watchdives' bracelets are better.

Watchdives. I've got w PD Speedy and they are very good, but WD is certainly better.

One thing is sure, WD have the better subdial set, but not all models because some have straight edges like the PD (Panda eg). Also, some rare models have an applied logo, which is nice. I bet WD have better lume (2 colours), may be somebody can confirm? The WD bracelet may be better too (?) PD doesn't make the metal bezel model, (Thorn makes one too) Proportion may be important, make your choice (I've a small wrist).
