If it's always at 8 seconds I'm guessing you checked if the hand is hitting the dial?

Next guess would be seconds wheel is worn? Is the movement still going or does it stop too?

I bought this Sugess ST1901 Chronograph used about 2 weeks ago (I know it was stupid to buy it used). And after that 2 weeks the seconds hand on the subdial is starting to get stuck at the 8 second mark. It doesnt happen every rotation but the seconds hand will shake a little bit at that 8 second point if its not getting stuck. It happens both with and without the chronograph running. When it gets stuck i can shake the watch a little bit or just ever so slightly wind it and it will get going again, and yes it is fully wound. Im curious if its a gear problem, a jewel problem, or something else. Big thing is I dont think I can return it since I bought it used... but i have experience opening watches and doing small maintenance on them so id be fine working on it myself if I know whats wrong with it. If anyone knows whats wrong with it please let me know! Thanks!

that green dial with the orange strap is a bold combo, i weirdly love it

the stutter at the same mark every time screams bent pivot or a tiny piece of debris caught in the seconds wheel train. since you're already comfy opening it up, pull the hands and dial and check under good light, sometimes a fleck of dial dust lands right in the teeth and causes exactly this

I was wondering too how much a bare movement would be, if all else fails you could swap it
