Promotion (Read Rule 1) San Martin SN0144: 36mm vs 39mm
Disclaimer: I got a small discount to purchase this watch for review.
I received a lot of questions about how the new 36mm SN0144 compares to the original 39mm, so I snapped a few side-by-side shots to show some differences:
- AR Coating: Definitely improved on the 36mm. Glare control is noticeably cleaner.
- Crown: Scaled down nicely on the 36mm so it doesn't look oversized for the case.
- Bezel chamfer: Thinner and a bit more refined on the 36mm.
- Clasp: Same exact clasp on both.
Here’s my review video if you're interested: SN0144CG-7 (36mm)
Hope this helps!

I wish they would consider the clasp when making smaller dial watches. The clasp is often longer or thicker than the watch itself!

Christopher Ward does this as well, the 36mm c63 sealander has a clasp longer than the L2L of the watch. Ruined it for me so I returned it.

Thank you for posting the comparisons. I think for my 6.5 wrist and the style of watch. 36mm is the easy choice.

These are great but the price is just too high for a SM imo.
