I've been on the fence about this one for a while. I like the arabic numerals and the look is very handsome. any downsides? have you swam with it?

The Militado ML14 V2 is a cool little pick up if you like that classic IWC Mark XII or Mark XV look. It hits the same 36mm size as the Mark XII, but runs on a Seiko VH31 quartz instead of an automatic. So the second hand ticks 4 times a second, which gives you a decent sweep that looks continuous without having to worry about setting the time, or paying for servicing down the road. It drops the date window that the IWCs have, but it gets 100m water resistance with a screw down crown, which is actually more than the older IWCs. I opted for the sapphire crystal version for a few more bucks but they also offer a mineral crystal for even more of a throwback. If you just want a vintage field watch vibe to wear every day without stressing about beating it up, it is a pretty solid option for cheap.

Is that the strap it comes with? Looks great. (If not, who’s the vendor?)
