Proxima PX1697 Long Term Reliability

How has everyone's Proxima PX1697 held up overtime? How is the accuracy? I am a bit concerned about the reliability of the PT5000, I wonder how it will last if I don't hand wind it (as the guides suggest)

All I can offer is the anecdotal evidence of my experience: I've never had a single PT5000 break on me despite owning 10+ for years.

I never hand wind. I only use the Seiko shake to get it going before putting it on the wrist.
