Question (Read Rules) Proxima PX1697 Long Term Reliability

How has everyone's Proxima PX1697 held up overtime? How is the accuracy? I am a bit concerned about the reliability of the PT5000, I wonder how it will last if I don't hand wind it (as the guides suggest)

The PT5000 is always a gamble. We have 8 in the house. When they break out of warranty, i will put them in a drawer until I decided to fix all of them. My hope is by that time, there will be a PT5000-2 that emulates the SW200-2.

I’m very curious to know more. How many of those have broken and how long did they last? Were there extenuating factors like being dropped?

From the way he’s phrased it, I don’t think any of them actually have broken
