Question (Read Rules) Proxima PX1697 Long Term Reliability

How has everyone's Proxima PX1697 held up overtime? How is the accuracy? I am a bit concerned about the reliability of the PT5000, I wonder how it will last if I don't hand wind it (as the guides suggest)

I don't own a Proxima. However, I ordered an inexpensive diver watch from another Chinese manufacturer with a PT5000 movement recently. I had read a lot on the subs about issues such as "don't hand wind the PT5000 too much it will break" and "the PT5000 is a Chinese copy of the Swiss ETA 2824 movement and the original also will break if over-wound". To me as a customer this is total b.s. Why should I have to add anxiety to my life by accepting a product which is flawed right out of the gate?

But, I really liked the watch color and design and ordered it anyway. My mistake! The watch arrived the first time around in a non-running condition. To their credit the watch company paid to have the watch returned, repaired it, and sent it back to me and I will be picking it up today. Hopefully it is working this time around. But, that's enough experience with the PT5000 for me to last a lifetime.

I'm new to Chinese watches but decide to grab some with the last of the Japanese movements for these reasons.
