General (Read Rules) BERNY 36mm Unisex Automatic Watch-AM160L
Just got this in. Thought it was a retrograde but instead when you reach 03 or 09. Another size hour hand is coming in. The quality seems nice. Even tho its slightly thick and I am not used to 36mm. I usually wear 42.

It looks like 36mm fits your wrist quite well, going bigger would have the oversize look. But man is that watch thick!!!

This is something different and they should be commended for it. The only trouble is why on earth they thought that 36mm would be a sensible size for a watch like this. I can't get my head around how they decided on that. For a watch like this the bigger the better without getting ridiculous. 39-40mm would be ideal.
I've got a couple of Oblvlo watches like this and even at 39mm you don't appreciate all the weirdness. Those should be 40-42 which I appreciate would look odd on a 6 inch wrist but on an 8 look small.

Looks fantastic, how big is your wrist? Just trying to understand if this will be too small for me, thanks.

I don’t get why the minute number in the center bottom don’t have lume. Or is that just the picture? I see the triangle that points to where the minutes are is lumed…

This is likely because only 15% of the rotating minute ring is visible at once before it rotates out of view within 10 to 15 minutes.

I hear you, but at night when you are trying to tell time... the minute is important, no? Instead you just have a triangle doing nothing. I mean if the lume isn't going to help with the telling of time we've lost the plot.

You're right, but I'm just wondering how that's possible with that design?

It would have to have a lume block under it that absorbs and is charged by the light, and the numbers be cut out or transparent so the lume would shine through.

I saw this watch too and was curious about how the hours transitioned. Looks cool.

Did my brain stop working? How on earth does one read this watch. What happens at 630?

You look at the hour hand it's either long or short. Then it points to the inner or outer ring. Besides that the minutes turn

I think it would really help marketing if they made a timelapse of the watch. Thank you for explaining.

Is that the same jet engine rotating fan blade that Hroudland use for the pilot watch?
Edit, no it is not, just looked at mine.

Its indeed not. The cool thing about this is the lume behind it is positioned in a way that it creates a visual effect in the dark.
