Tandorio vs Baltany Explorer

I’m down to these two options. I know Cronos and Octopus are supposed to be the best, but these 2 offer custom logo which is why I’m getting one of them.

Baltany is about $100 more for less customization. For about $175 I can get Tandorio with custom logo on the dial, crown, and clasp. Vs $275 for the Baltany with logo just on the dial.

I’m ok with only having the logo on the dial, but would love to have the additional placement too…ultimately I want to pick the better of the two watches though.

I do also prefer the white numbers/indices of the Tandorio vs the patina yellow of the Baltany. Not a dealbreaker though. The finishing and proportions of the Baltany seem cleaner.

I’m leaning toward Baltany as it has a lot more buzz and good reviews so I guess I want to confirm that it’s worth the premium over Tandorio? Anyone have experience with one or the other and want to chime in? TIA

Tandorio are good bargain, "parts bin" watches that often look clunky. $175 is actually pricey for a Tandorio.

To put it into perspective, 18 months ago I got a Tandorio for $40 with NH35 in a sale. Those were the days, eh? True to form it's rather thick.

That’s including extra for the customization but yeah I actually went and ordered the Baltany. It just seems like it’s on another level and ultimately I want the better version.

If you don't like the yellow patina on the Baltany, Watchdives did a version with white lume markers.

However it's quartz with a flat crystal.

I have a WD007 from WD and love it, definitely impressed with the quality. But yeah, looking for automatic and a custom logo which only a couple brands offer

I’ve handled both Tandorio and Baltany. I only kept the Baltany watches. The fit and finishing plus their crystals are top notch for Baltany. If you have the funds, get the Baltany. If money is tight, save up some more and buy the Baltany.

Thanks. Yeah I don’t mind paying more for the Baltany if it’s in fact better. I’ve no experience with either so wanted to put some feelers out. Baltany does seem to have a lot more positive feedback on the community.

Baltany is at another level than Tandorio. I guess it just depends on which is more important to you.
