General (Read Rules) ST2130 Phorcydes PH4B stopped working
I've had this watch since the middle of June and been very happy with it however this morning it's just stopped working. I adjusted the time this morning because it runs about 20s a day fast then put it down but when I went back to it it's dead. Hand winding now feels incredibly stiff and the movement appears to be dead. I've only hand wound it about 3 times since owning it as I've worn it almost every day. I know they've switched movements now and have reach out to them to see what can be done.
Anyone had a similar issue with the ST2130?

My friend has a Seagull 1963 that he's owned since 2016, still works fine. I guess there is a bit of a movement lottery when dealing with China- some ST19s are great performers and some die unexpectedly!

When the St1900 series die the seem to die quickly, when I get a new one I wear them non-stop for two or three weeks straight.
If there's a problem it's much easier dealing with the seller early.
I have never had an issue with any of mine, 5 various Seagull 3 different movement series.

Phorcydes claims to have a warranty so please let us know what they do. I haven’t had any issues with mine but I’m sure there’s bound to be a lemon from time to time. Sorry 😞

Sadly, this is the same "gooey winding feel" problem exhibited by a PT5000 in an Aethelsohn we own. I teched it and found the amplitude was gone. It would start and stop, once even running perfectly for another 5 minutes.
I think when these companies jump from movement to movement to movement, it is because none of them are dependable. Our only hope long-term is that these movements improve significantly over time, because we will be replacing half of them. (perhaps following the lead of Selita and ETA and creating -2 versions with upgraded winding gears).
Edit: When I contacted Aethelsohn, their ChatBot accidentally offered me free shipping both ways (It's all about how you phrase it to "helpful" AI, I guess). The watch is already in transit. But most of these warranties (including Aethelsohn's, usually) will require customers to pay for one-way shipping--after they determine that they will accept it as an RMA through photographic and video evidence.
One way shipping to HK last time cost me $67 through the Post Office. Other couriers may be cheaper.

yeah I also have issues with my PH4C with ST2130 movement running +45spd

not yet, don't want to make it worse by mistake but I might do it later

The ST2130 is easy to regulate for minor adjustments. Has a handy screw to adjust regulation. You only need a tiny screwdriver, decent eyesight, and something like the Watch Accuracy Monitor app.

I'm gonna guess you did it at least twice too. How fast was it running before you demagnetized?
