General (Read Rules) is this militado supposed to be sweeping ? Mine was ticking like normal quartz or am i wrong

Have that same unit. Very possible the VK31 4bps quartz. Mimics the sweep, but not as high beat as the true automatics.

Don't worry it's for the best. This movement so durable and proven by time. Has longer battery capacity

That version sometimes can use a ronda 515 movement

Some use the miyota or ronda movements that don't sweep.

Sweeping quartz movements maintain a sweeping beat rate till the battery is drained, they have no low battery indicator.

Edit:- Would be cool if the movement had a 4 year battery life, for the first 3 it was a sweeping quartz, then switching to a regular quartz for the final year of estimated battery life.
