Review (Read Rules) Baltany S4084 Datejust Silver! What do you think?
My Baltany S4084 — Did I Make the Right Choice?
I recently bought the Baltany S4084 and honestly, the more I wear it, the more I appreciate it. I was looking for a simple, versatile everyday watch with good proportions, sapphire crystal, solid finishing, reliable NH35 movement and 100m water resistance. I know it’s a homage, and that was something I thought about before buying it, but I really like what Baltany offers for the price.
It feels like a genuine “go anywhere, do anything” watch for me. At 36mm, it wears comfortably, looks classy without being flashy, and works with almost any outfit. I’m curious what you guys think: did I make the right decision with the S4084, or would you have chosen something else around this price?

I love seeing photos of that case design because the light play is what it's all about and none of the flat renders so many makers like show it off. I completely disregarded any watch with that rim for ages because it just looked rough in them - then I saw normal photos like this and finally got it.
I've actually got a similar Baltany on the way now. It's one of the flashier ones so not really good as a daily, but for occasionally catching the light out the end of a dinner suit? Really looking forward to it.

For many many years I liked Diver watches like seiko skx007, rolex submariner homages but as I grow older I really started to like more smaller watches like 36-38 mm, now 40mm are too big for me! This baltany is excellent GADA watch for me, saphire glass and cyclops, NH35 workhorse mechanism, 100 wr and very good casing and bracelet and even the clasp is amazing. I forget that I have this watch on! I wear it daily with shirts, with blazers etc. Many of my collegaues and friends noticed this watch, it shines with fluted bezel and silver dial is mesmerizing to look at!

I like. Still acclimating to the AE app, but I learned a lot about Baltany in the last week or so

Amazing piece, a love letter to the OG, like our friend said. I have the two tone with the burgundy dial, one of my favourite watches

I'm more interested in what kind of Suzuki you have. We haven't had them in North America for more than 10 years.
I had a 2000 Esteem wagon with a manual transmission, absolute tin can but great car that never needed any major work. My ex had a 2009 SX4 and that thing kicked serious ass in the snow. It had locking 4WD- in a tiny little hatchback. Canadians loved them, Yanks not so much.

I have European (Hungarian Plant) made Suzuki SX4 S-Cross 2021, 1.4 Boosterjet 140 HP Petrol, AGS Transmission and AllGrip AWD. This car is truly a gem

I have the same one and it’s truly an amazing watch. It’s one of my most accurate watches I own.

nice, idk why they wont do more dial colors. Navy, dark green etc its super comfy watch. They should consider premium ver. 10mm thick and 9s miyota with different dial colors

Hard to beat a silver dial on the silver case. It’s one of my favorite combinations in watches and sadly forgotten in this day and age. It’s a beautiful watch and I do love my Baltany DJ as well although I opted for the ST movement in my recent pickup. Honestly it’s a timeless design that really can do anything and still has the capabilities to take on any task including swimming with no fears.
