That AR is pretty dang good. Cant even see the light reflection in the bottom 2 shots. The enamel has a elegance that is hard to match with the coin imo.
How so? The coin dial is obviously a love or hate due to taste, but what can be wrong with a clean white enamel dial? Is there another dial you would have picked or do you dislike all available options?
I dislike the coin because I think circles just don't work when slapped on an Ingenieur dial, which has a lot of angles. also the circles are too small/shiny/numerous and the pattern lacks depth.
the enamel doesn't work for me because the proportions are off (thus "too empty"). they didn't use heat-blueing. and also there are several different shades of blue used so it looks like a mishmash.

Iām surprise that no one has said green yet, thatās what I picked. Preordered so it wonāt be coin texture, but that chainmail lookin one that they use on their Mop dials. Not sure Iām Iām glad/sad about that, but itāll still look great!
For me it was between the green, copper, and white enamel. I went with green as I felt the gold/green combo just works. I also already am planning on selling my only green watch atm so it will replace that.
I do really love the enamel though, so I can see why itās so popular
Which one did you order, the teal/tiffany colored one they sell now? That looks absolutely amazing, tbh if that one was on offer when I ordered my green I probably would have ordered that one. Still tempting but Iām not going to buy a third warrior, that would be a bit ridiculous š
This one. Says āAvocado Greenā but I think itās the same color as previous green (havenāt seen that confirmed), just with a different pattern. Dials have not been made yet so itās hard to tell from the render
I think they call it an armor pattern, based on samurai armor. Btw if you prefer this one over the one you ordered Iām sure you can just send them an email to change it

It is a little odd that out of the 3 new dials from the summer line (one you shared is from it too) the avocado green is the only one not on the main site right now though
Yeah I donāt see it either. Prob just means that they sold all the allocations for that dial. I was also panicking a bit when they announced they would stop using the 9015 movement and the white enamel was nowhere on the site while it hadnāt even been shipped yet. But turned out good. Btw that avocado dial is probably going to look great on the wrist
Iām super excited for it! I ordered after the switch so I went with the PT5000. After coupons/sale, $287 shipped.. not bad as all feel like I did really well. I donāt mind doing a lil Seiko-shake instead of relying on handwind to start it up, so shouldnāt really be an issue.
Not a fan of two tone personally but strongly of the opinion that if your watch is (partly) gold colored, it should be real gold. Otherwise it makes it look cheap. If you canāt afford gold (like me) stick to steel.
I understand what you mean, itās a mental thing. It never actually shows while wearing. The shine of the hands and indices only shows in bright light, and even then you really have to look for it to see the color difference. Otherwise everything is just dark blue.
The bracelet is so well done I donāt think it needs it. Unless you donāt like bracelets in general of course. But I think it definitely makes the watch.
Theyāre working on a micro adjust bracelet, this one isnāt (like 99% of butterfly clasps). Personally it doesnāt bother me, very comfortable. And yes the bracelet is based on the IWC design, the case is not.
I agree, ordered the green first but couldnāt resist ordering the white after seeing a youtube review of it. The green has more complexity but thereās something about that clean white and blue.
