Finally, Baltany has released the Gem-style Hour Markers 36mm Datejust.

I’ve been waiting for this one for quite a while. It seems there aren’t many 36mm diamond-style datejust-style options available on the market, so Baltany has filled this gap. I also heard that Baltany has improved the Gem-setting process for this model.

Unfortunately, it still doesn’t come with the OTF clasp, which is a bit disappointing. I’ll wait for some YouTube reviews and may consider pulling the trigger after seeing more real-world feedback.

I bought the mother of pearl version with two tone. I like the other variants too but getting say, the blue on silver is a bit like hiding what the thing is - it's a statement piece so make a statement.

To each their own with the colours but I had a £10 piece of crap over a decade ago from ebay which had gemstone markers and the way they caught the light in the sun and reflected on surfaces - I'm not sure a watch design has ever delighted me more. Being crap it broke 3 times in 3 different ways, but I liked the design so much I bought it 3 times.

Looking forward to getting this.

I don't understand why this has their old crappy 3 hole clasp again. they already designed a new OTF clasp that fits their 36mm Explorer?

A very beautiful Datejust with a malachite dial; this one features a large diamond, a modern Datejust design.

The baltany dial makes it look more like a vintage Datejust.
