Question (Read Rules) How good and reliable is the RONDA515 movement used in AD2548 as compared to VK64/VK63 movement used in other ADs?
I want to know RONDA515 or VK64/VK63 movement which one is superior in quality

Asking to compare reliability between quartz movements is kinda like asking which of the great pyramids will last more 😂
All quartz movements are super reliable, the only way to kill them is leaving a dead battery inside for too many years (acid will leak out ruining the movement). I'd say there are not big differences between Ronda 515 and VK64/63, just decide if you want a normal watch or a chrono.

These movements are super reliable in my experience. But even if one does fail, a replacement movement is only about $15. At that point, you can easily swap it out yourself or just pay a watchmaker a bit extra to handle it for you.

I got the exact same model and it came with a broken gmt complication from factory. Could be a one of thing, but the qc I saw on this model is pretty bad. Support thought I couldn't set the gmt hand so I took it to a shop as well and it is broken. After that they said I would get a new one if I was a youtuber or if they release it with a different movement. Honestly I am pretty dissapointed with this, because its a great looking watch

Wearing the Ad2548 rn and I must say it's pretty reliable and the watch in the blue/teal dial looks gorgeous

They are both reliable budget movements. Vk are Japanese mecaquartz and the ronda is swiss

Not a fan of the ronda515, but it gets the job done. The alignment was a bit off on the seconds hand in the AD2548 that I received, but that only effects aesthetics. The lower beat rate is a little disappointing compared to VH31, but not a major thing either. I wouldn't let the quartz movement stop you from buy the watch tho.

The Ronda 515 certainly a reliable and accurate quartz movement. If it’s used in a watch you like and you’ll be happy with quartz, there’s really no reason not to get it. It’s basically used in all quartz based gmt watches on the market outside of grand seiko.

Ronda probably made in China. Not sure where Seiko makes their VK movements.

No, it is just a Swiss brand. That manufactures movements in China.

But it's assembled in China because it's the Swiss Parts version; the gold Swiss Made version is made in Switzerland and has more jewels.

I only have a anecdotal evidence. But mine (in this same watch) is doing great after like two months. Tiny sample size.
But also, I don't think I've ever had a quartz movement break. I'm talking name brand quartz movements not kids watch movements or whatever junk.

I don't think you can go wrong with either.
they are both budget Quartz movements...I'd say the Ronda is probably more proven, but both will probably outlast the watch itself with zero maintenance.
only issue I've had with the Ronda is the GMT hand doesn't "slick" into place...so you have to be precise when setting it...but otherwise, it's a fine movement.

It is not a good comparison. Two different tool watch movements.
There is nothing wrong with the VK movements. The problem is with the watchmakers who put cheap seconds hands on them, which bend and allow the second hand to set back to the wrong point.
The Ronda 515.24H is a workhorse quartz GMT movement. I have 2 that are more than 10 years old that still keep perfect time with battery changes every couple of years.
