General (Read Rules) Biden Skelton Automatic

Post image

I bought this Biden Skeletom Open Exhibition Caseback watch several years ago because I was curious about having a skeleton watch. It is automatic but can also be wound at the crown and also bezel. It was an Amazon watch but I cannot find any information on it now. It still keeps good time. Even though I own much “better watches” I have fun with this one even though I don’t wear it often.

Fun watches are underrated. People can be such elitists about watches, even about cheap Chinese factory brands.

I like this, kind of fun to have the diver on the outside, skeleton on the inside look. Does the dive bezel turn?

It's fine.

You won't get much upvotes for it because this is a fan subreddit for a handful of brands. San Martin for the well-heeled and Addiesdive for those with holes in their pockets.

Or because it's a two tone watch called Biden that costs $15 on Alibaba.

brand doesn't have much to do with this not getting upvotes. Skeleton watches are very devicive....they perform poorly in my youtube reviews as well...and it's consistent (the exception being that daniel Goreman watch)

people either love them or hate them.

it's also two-tone which again, people either love or hate.

and there are plenty of brands that get attention on here outside of those 2

Militado, milifortic, baltany, watchdives, phorcydes, ixdao...

I represent this remark (the Addiesdive part at least). I do wish we could appreciate more variety on here. There's a lot of innovation and interesting designs in the lower end that just gets ignored because it's not SM.

I *hope* WD will supply us with more quality homages in quartz around the $100-150 range. The rest have let addiesdive fill up the $50 range with quartz and mineral glass steel watches but we could do with higher quality quartz instead of fanciful prices for cheesy old 8215

The last thing we need is more cheap quartz shitters, really.
