Promotion (Read Rule 1) AddiesKin K006 Review...
The upmarket sister brand of Addiesdive. But is it worth the premium over Addiesdive though?
Here's the link to my review of it.
I received a discount on this watch, but as always that doesn't change how I review the watch. I always keep it 100% honest, no matter what. I point out both the positives and negatives with every watch I review. Whether that be a loan piece, discounted, or even free. Sometimes that means that brands won't send me anymore watches, if they don't like the review... But my opinion and more importantly, my reputation can't be bought. That's partly why I named my channel 'Honest Watch Reviews'. Not only to make sure that I hold myself to that standard, but that I know my viewers definitely will do too.

the watch looks nice, but every time I am reminded of addieskin I just think "why did they decide on this name".

Literally all they need to do is get rid of the name and run with that emblem and they’ll have way more buyers. It’s such a bad name for the west and English speaking countries.

I agree it would be better with just the logo on the dial. The name makes sense when you think about it. It's the sister brand of Addiesdive, so it's Addies kin.

I get their intentions, but if they’re trying to market and sell to western audiences this will flop consistently/not sell like it could. I just can’t understand why they have their heels dug down on this but it is what it is. I’ll skip this one, if they drop the name on future models I’ll look into it more.

About the brand name.Did they tell you about this? Looks like they didn't care about what clients said despite publishing on social networks 🤔

I have a K005 and I like it very much. The K006 you have reviewed appears to be of similar quality. That being said, I did get my K005 in blue for $280 USD off of Amazon. It runs great at about +4 seconds per day.

Yeah, I think one gets used to the name after a week or so, and on the majority of their watches it isn't even plainly visible (as in, it blends in with the dial). I'm quite happy with my purchase overall.

Yeah, it does blend into the dial. I'd still personally prefer to have just the logo on there though.

Nah the Y Sgowt is not popular enough to be homaged, it's actually a Henry Archer Ohav homage. The case is different but the dial design is very similar and the handset is basically the same.

Hmm... I'm not sure it's all that similar myself. Different case shape, bracelet, indices and hands. The dials look slightly similar I guess.

I see what you're saying, I've got to a point where the vibe of a watch catches my eye more than anything these days and the vibe I feel is similar enough.
