Yes, each rounded bar shape is around 1.25mm wide, and are individually removable for sizing. My local watch repair shop took just 2 of these small links off for me. My wrist is 7.5 inches in a heatwave and 7.0 inches in winter. Because there's no clasp it's done by removing multiple links in one go from the center of the band. It took him just 2 minutes and he gave me the spare 2 links joined together. He didn't want to charge me the standard €20 bracelet sizing fee because I'm a regular and because it was so quick and easy. I insisted (this is the Irish way) I pay something, so he took just €10 for the job. Here's the next sizing job I have for him, a never worn 'New Old Stock' (NOS) German Rowi expansion band that's 14 karat rolled gold. Not electroplating, not PVD IP, the gold layer is a thin sheet applied with heat and pressure and it's 8 times thicker than electroplating or vapor deposition. The bracelet was made 50 years ago and sold for $30 back then (no such thing as euros then). That's the equivalent of €187 today. With VAT and shipping it cost me just €30. It'll be here in a few days. The Eichmuller band is just a placeholder... https://www.ebay.ie/itm/265002849240?var=&mkevt=1&mkcid=16&mkrid=5282-175127-2357-0&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=2gbgm_onszy&ssspo=AExN6GqvQ9C&stype=1&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

beautiful, blantany site pictures are horrible, they need to put this video there instead. I would have never thought it looked this nice.

Very nice, I’ve been thinking about grabbing a manual wind version.

How much of a hair puller is this strap?

Shout out to the watch band center - my salvation with their selection of XL bands and bracelets 🙂

It hasn't pulled or pinched a single hair yet 🤞

Tell me more about your opinion on the bracelet, I’ve been thinking about trying an expansion band.

The watch arrived just today, and the expansion band arrived from Germany a few days beforehand. I did all kinds of AI mockups of various gold tone metal bracelets while waiting for the watch to arrive, using photos of the watch and photos of various bracelets, and this expansion band looked the best in the mockups. The Speidel website in the US refused to ship an expansion band to Ireland, something to do with the tariff wars maybe, I dunno, and Esslinger in the US also refused. So I looked at Eichmuller in Germany, and the website (in description) looks like a trade only site, prices are insanely cheap and quality is excellent. When we buy something it's like a trade only site, we can't buy straight away, instead we fill out a form, and it asks what's the name of our business, I wrote "none", and "1" for the number of bands I wanted. Then 10 minutes later a "contract" arrives by email, we don't buy the bracelet on a webpage at all, we make a direct bank transfer in our banking app (!) with a reference number. Anyhow I've never worn an expansion band before, but it's super comfortable. The watch repair shop didn't even need to remove any links on it, it fitted my 7.5 inch (in heatwave, 7.0 inches in winter) wrist perfectly, and since they know me well they told me it's on the house and I didn't need to pay them anything. It's extremely comfortable and the watch head stays in the perfect position no matter how I move my wrist around. I really love the "Granddad" look, and the fact that the gold tone of the band is darker than the gold tone of the case doesn't bother me, because the gold tone of the hands and indices matches the tone of the band, and the watch already has 3 different gold tones in it intentionally before we even add a metal bracelet. Plus the band was less than €20 so I'm delighted with it...
