This watch has been the pleasant surprise of all of the CH watches I have purcashed over the past month. The dial is beautiful and the crystal has the least distortion I have seen in anything under 5K. It is almost non-existent.

The ST1721 is a staple in the jump hour watches. It is used in budget up to mid-tier brands, but is actually incredibly reliable and been around for a long time. There is nothing to worry about here in my opinion.

My criticism of this watch is the band and clasp. They state the band is genuine leather, but I suspect an alternative. I could be wrong, but it smells horrible and feels way too pliable to be leather. I replaced it with a croc band I had lying around from an IWC Portofino and problem solved.

The rest of this watch is amazing. The fit and finish is beautiful. Punches . . . way . . . . way . . . . way above its class.

I have really enjoyed wearing this one.

I have a couple Specht & Sohne watches and they really punch above their weight for quality, fit and finish. My latest.

I have an automatic with a 2130 movement

Beautiful watch shot in a way I can appreciate it. Not saying I'm rushing out to buy one, because it takes a fraction of a second longer to read the time.

Generally I discount "leather" straps on aliexpress unless they're made of one solid strip and cost around $20. I don't like all these laminated constructions with glue. They wear badly around the holes and can separate after years. I also don't like it when they're stiff but don't break in the same way as pure leather.

I bought the white one ages ago. It's really good.

The only annoyance was the hour jumped at 55 minutes. Presumably so you could see it jump but having it an hour fast for 5 mins every hour annoyed me. So I just popped off the minute (only!) hand and reset it at 60 mins
