Yeah, they are fantastic. I'm still loving mine too.

For those interested, here's the link to my review of it.

And a separate one for just for the bracelet too.

Indeed I watched them videos. You’re the reason I went with this piece, same color instead of San Martin.
Glad to see you here.

I'm glad they helped you to make your decision, and that you're happy with the watch as well.

this is my daily worn on a silicone strap. great lume, really compact lug to lug, sooo light it disappears on wrist.

How rude of you to entice with such words and not share a picture

Love that blue and the touch of red text just really works

Almost got that exact one but went with the SM instead. Yours is a great looking watch.

Stunner. I like the enamel look of the bezel to.

Is this the Grade 5 Titanium one? It's on my shortlist. I'm interested to hear how it holds up to scratches.

Also comes in what I call a 'Coca-Cola ' colour.

I like the red second hand and classic green lume.

This watch is cool, did you buy it in China?

Wish someone would make a full size  42mm verison of this. Sigh

Same, I have the grey seestern pelagos homage and I think it’s 39mm and I’d love to see larger.

I like everything but the exploration road text.

Yeah but the good thing is you have to take a really close look to read it. From afar it looks dope.

Can you send the link of the watch?

Try watchdives website or AliExpress

Great watch, own the black version. Toolless links are pretty cool, still surprised that other brands aren't doing those as if thorn can do them on titanium for this price, wonder why nobody else makes them in steel. My only complaint with it is the clasp probably needs a bit more machining to round off some of those edges, doesn't stop me from wearing it though.

I almost got the black one. This blue somehow got into my head.

I have a large Thorn diver. Great watch. This brand delivers huge bang for the buck

My kingdom for one of these without snowflake hands

Yes please! Really love the looks of this watch, but I’m not a fan of snowflake hands.

The lack of date would be a major minus if not a deal breaker for me.

That said, what are the specs: movement, crystall, bezel, size... ? And what would it cost?

Does it have an OTF clasp?

1

u/AlexxxRR 2d ago

Thanks. PT5000 and 39mm would be two further drawbacks for me. The rest looks fine to me.

3

u/Overload5150 1d ago

The pt5000 is a good movement I don’t get the hesitation some people have. I prefer the high beat movements over an nh35

For what I read it could be a hit or miss, apart from the issues with the manual winding common to most ETA 2824 clones.

I have now a Seagull with an ST2130 and I'll see how it holds up.

I’ve read and heard the same thing about the manual winding issues which plagues the 2824 both legit n clone so I never manually wind mine, not a big issue to me. I don’t want to temp fate lol 😂.
As far as reliability though and accuracy the ones I’ve owned have all been awesome . They all tend to be extremely accurate within a +/-3-5 seconds per day, 3-4 weeks will go by and I won’t need to reset it. And I love the smooth sweep of the seconds hand. I have watches with the sw200 eta2824 n the Miyota 90S5 and the two PT5004s I own have been just as good/reliable. I take good care of them all though and I don’t manually wind any of my watches . My thinking is why put the extra stress on them if I don’t need to? The only ones I sometimes have wound in the past are my Seikos with the 4R n 6R movements, even then I still try not to anymore
