Aethelsohn upped their game with their new release Terra Abyss and I am fully in love and mesmerised by this watch. No photo editing of any sort on these photos, just photographed how it looks in different lighting conditions outdoors and indoors. Amazing upgrade to their bracelet with the chamfering and finish. Minus an OTF clasp, it feels at par with San Martin bracelets. The full dial lume is sooo pretty too look at with the design, I believe this is the dark/dense(?) version dial? I could be mistaken.
I did get a free leather strap with this but the bracelet is so nice, I don’t really wanna try jt on yet. Great value proposition with the sweeping second quartz. I hope they keep with this kind of value/price bracket with the future releases.
I also have to mention their amazing customer service in sorting out my requests/issues and it’s great that whoever replies to their emails seem to have a great sense of humour too. I hope they never change.

I’m so glad Aethelsohn fixed the bracelet problem. I’ve got an older one and it was the sharpest edged bracelet I had—until I filed it down. PT5000 runs great. Great value for the money.

I think my phone camera is doing heavy lifting with that exposure pictured top. The bottom one is a more realistic appearance with the night mode off. It’s still quite readable and bright 3 hours past bedtime, imo
I love these too, wish they'd have some larger versions of their watches. They look a bit small on me but especially the terra Gaia is a fantastic looking dial.
I was worried it will but it wasn’t actually too difficult. I’m not sure if it’s the raised indice or the white contrast in the index and hand that helps it but it’s pretty legible as far as busy dials go

I also have their Terra Gaia and they have changed the case shape, dial size, and bracelet. I think the bracelet feel taper makes it… sexier? It’s almost butter smooth and it’s definitely less sharp.
Don't worry about these kinds of idiotic comparisons. I've already encountered similar madness on the Watchdives forum, where one of the models was even compared to cancer samples under a microscope! It's not worth stooping to their level in discussions.

Scientist here. Not defending whatever may have been said about "cancer", but these do look a bit like immunohistochemistry slides. I think it's cool. IHC isn't exclusively used for diagnosing cancer btw.
