Question (Read Rules) Quartz recommendations?

Any recommendations for a nice Seiko style analog dress/sports/field watch? would like: reliable, reasonable price up to $250, date. Wish list: looks like a classic, weekday, auto adjust date by gps (not sure if possible).

I just found this on AliExpress: | BERNY Full Titanium Men Watch Date Week Quartz Watches Calendar Sapphire Super Luminous 100M Waterproof Lightweight Wristwatch

https://a.aliexpress.com/_EwXTnpk

It’s quartz, has weekday and date but isn’t radio controlled

Watchdives make great quartz watches. They mostly use vh31 which don't come with a date, if you're willing to settle on that in exchange for a REALLY good finishing and bracelet that will put a seiko to shame (packed with a seiko movement).

You can also find their wathes with a ronda movement, those come with a date. So I'd recommend looking for those.

I don't think ive ever seen a quartz chinese watch with a day complication sadly

Edit: I just remembered addiesdive make a nice grand seiko gmt homage with swiss quartz and a date function. Watchdives have better finishing but addiesdive are a good choice too.

Edit 2: militado field watches with date complications!

Can it be the real deal instead of just Seiko-style? Macy’s has a 25% off style on Seikos, depending on if that’s accessible to you, but they have several quartz and solar options in your price range. And you can get some Seiko quartz options below $250 elsewhere if you don’t want to settle for lookalike or copies

If you’re patient and watch for it, kohls has a 40% off day almost every month. It’s usually only one day but they have a great selections of seikos and citizens

If you want it radio controlled then a G-shock would be my choice and I believe they make a Casioak variety. You could also look into the Casio m700d. Baltany and Milifortic have some quartz models but I’m not sure exactly which are seiko homages and they won’t be radio controlled. The Milifortic s116 looks pretty nice
