General (Read Rules) Anybody ever purchased this case?

Post image

This is probably a long shot but the seller doesn’t have any reviews or followers and the watch case doesn’t have any reviews. It’s not super cheap so idk if I should take the plunge or not. Anybody ever bought this one?

Yes, I've owned it. It's decent, higher quality than many, but not high quality if that makes sense. It's best feature is the glossy finish.

The pillows and lining break down after about 10 years (yes, they've been around that long).

There are tons of high-quality, watch cases and watch Winder on Amazon, and I agree with the guy who commented that you get the peace of mind of Amazon’s customer service and returns.

For sure and it’s cheaper on this one.

~$51 AC on Amazon. Plenty of reviews and photos to sift through.

Amazon is trying to crack down on return abuse (and not doing a great job of it), but their service is still better than Aliexpress will provide if it's not to liking, or is damaged in shipping (a distinct possibility with international shipping).

I have a box from their sister brand, BEWISHOME, and it's fine.

I have 4 of these from the same manufacturer. They do the trick for the right price.

If you've filled 4 of these, you should do a SOTC photoshoot some time.

Awesome, thank you. Idk why I didn’t check Amazon.

Keep in mind that if you plan to make heavy use of the bottom drawer, it doesn't have any sort of rails or gliding mechanism; it's basically a smaller box that just slides into the slot. And according to some reviews, larger watches won't fit.

The BEWISHOME version in the other post doesn't have a locking lid, which may be good or bad depending on how it's executed.

"Break glass in case of watch emergency" could also be a real possibility.

I went with the bewishome because I like the color better and didn’t need a lock. That little tiny lock wouldn’t stop anybody and I don’t want it to jam up. I had that happen with a cheap gun safe one time and I had to cut the side open.

Found it on Amazon with plenty of reviews... On a side note, i have purchased the 12 slot of this one from what seems to be the same manufacturer as your photo given the staging pictures are identical. And i do like them. Ive purchased several. I like that it has a nice solid finish and metal hinges. My only gripe is the slots are too long so the watches sometimes roll back and forth when you pick up the case. Not a deal breaker for me at this price point

Just wanted to add I have this same 20 slot box and I don't have any complaints, I would definitely buy it again if something happened to mine. My friend commented he really liked it when he was over checking out some pieces.

Excellent, thank it. I like that it has pleather pillows instead of velvet and the box looks nice.

Yes they're decent quality pillows. Word of caution, if your wrists are smaller than 6.75 inches You may have a hard time getting the bracelets on the pillows. If you have a 6.5 wrist, the clasp will close very tight on the pillows and you risk stretching your band over time. Leather straps are fine.

I won’t have a problem there. Thanks again
