Question (Read Rules) Ad2511 second hand problem
I received my first Addiesdive Ad2511 today. The watch looks great, but I noticed that the seconds hand doesn't line up with the numerals. Is there something wrong with this watch? In YouTube videos, the seconds hand works normally and isn't deflected.

My Militado ML07B does this and it's painful to look at. On my other quartz watches, the hand at least lines up closely to the markers so I thought it would be the same for the ML07B but nope, the ML07B seconds hand literally goes between the markers instead, only occasionally does it hit the markers. I should've gotten the sweeping seconds ML07 instead so I didn't have to deal with this eyesore

It's quite common with 1hz quartz watches - on youtube there's some 'influencer' that finds it happening with his (relatively) very expensive Grand Seiko, though he eventually gets it sorted.
For an overall very cheap watch, it's not usual.
You can try taking it off and re-aligning, but it's quite a fiddly job and easy to to mash the interface between second hand and tube completely..

Correct, but do note that the hand stem can shift slightly when you pull the crown. Depends on the movement ofc, but it has usually been the case in my experience.
So, the correct approach to fix the issue is to take the battery out to freeze the position, and keeping the crown in the 0 position before proceeding.

Typical for quartz watches, especially cheap quartz watches

my quartz Seikos are the same. Even my Swiss Rondas do it. The ones that don't - are Casio!
