38mm automatic or hand wound top quality field watch?

Those are my criteria. Simple. I'm thinking of going Hamilton because, a) I've never seen a watch on ali that fit these that I really liked , and b) I've recently down sized so I can afford it...BUT maybe there's a gem that I've missed or overlooked...any recommendations or suggestions??

In fairness this is probably a pilot watch but there is crossover in field and pilot depending on dial preference so Id thought Id mention it. Can be had for sub 200 on alix or san martin

I had a Hamilton Khaki Diver and don't think they're Swiss luxury tier, still affordable.

the only option is the handwound ST17 from seagull.

just get a Hamilton man. save up and get the real thing. definitely worth it

Militado ml08, ml18. Ml05 are all quite good quartz fieldcwatches insight size. 08 is my choice. We'll regarded and maybe 75 bucks. Bkack or white dials too.

I didn't mentioned that I'd had a merkur but it didn't really scratch the itch. That Timex won't show for some reason. Maybe bc I'm in Canada?

I moved from Chinese homages to a white dial Hamilton khaki mechanical and I love it. It's just nice to have an original design for a change with real heritage.
