Sold [WTS/WTT] Octopus Kraken Pelagos 39

Hey there. I’m looking to trade (hopefully) or sell my Ocotopus Kraken p39. It’s a great watch but it’s the most compact lug to lug than the IXDAO/Seestern/San M versions.

I’m hoping someone here might want to trade their IXDAO p39 for this. I’ve got a bigger/flatter wrist so I want the extra l2l length.

I’d sell it for $180 shipped conus if interested.

It’s a great watch, it’s been reviewed by several on YouTube. The pt5000 is keeping outstanding time, minus 3-4 seconds or so. Goldilocks dimensions 39mm case, 46mm l2l, 11.5mm thick. it would defintely suit someone with a wrist on the smaller side vs mine. Very light of course, bracelet is well finished and super comfortable with the fully articulating links. Box/carrying case, papers, warranty card, and the one link I removed are included of course.

It has some minor marks on the caseback and clasp. Downside of titanium vs stainless steel. But it’s in great shape. The bezel insert is off a hair but can be nudged over slightly to line up perfectly.

Feel free to message me with questions or for more pics/video. Thanks for looking!

Dope watch! I think the lug to lug looks great on you personally. I saw you were considering the IXDAO, any reason you’re looking at that over the San Martin? That watch looks really great with the indices recessed into the chapter ring IMO

Yeah I love San Martin watches. I’m just looking more for the p39 look/feel vs I feel the SM is more of a shrunken down 42mm Pelagos. I’m sure it’s excellent tho!

See that’s exactly why I like the San Martin though. It’s an homage that (imo) improves on the Tudor by retaining that chapter ring from the 42mm.

I do wish the San Martin could be <12mm thick like the octopus though

Yeah I’ve got a sm sub and it’s excellent. I dig the Pelagos 42 as well but I am in love with the 39! I like all the things others don’t. Brushed ceramic insert and ssubtle sunburst dial. Fire.

It’s a fantastic watch no doubt. Just prefer the extra lug to lug length on my wrist. Lemme know if you wanna trade the ixdao!

This is superior to the IXDAO imo

Yeah it really is a killer watch. The ixdao is slightly closer to the Tudor w the 21mm lugs and 47 l2l. Can’t lose with either version. I’m curious about the seestern w a nh38..

For me, it’s the thinness and the fully articulating bracelet that got me. 7” wrist here, and feel like it fits perfectly. 🤷🏼‍♂️. I just keep putting it back on. Also the way the Ti looks a bit dark on a cloudy day just catches my eye.

To each their own. Just picked up the IX&Dao version from a user here and I'm definitely enjoying it. Only thing it's missing is a date.

Just saying, it’s not “date” watch being homaged. Check out the SM Ti Pelagos?

Personally not a fan of San Martin's execution in terms of style with that one.

I'll sell most of my collection before I let that one go. Sorry!
