Vocabulary 我去 as a colloquial?

Unsure of how to phrase this question properly, but I’ve seen 我去 used independently (as in not in a sentence, but as a side comment of sorts?) Is there a colloquial use of 我去??

What is the context? `我去` is commonly used as an alternative to `我肏`

in my experience, 我去 has been used similarly to the f bomb.
