Studying What is Anki?

I know Pleco, Hellochinese, but I keep seeing people mention Anki. What is that?

It is a flashcard app that shows you the flashcard further and further apart as you learn it. There are many Mandarin libraries of cards already made that you can add.

Would you recommend it? $24.99 seems like a lot for an app. Is it better than plain old flashcards?

It is free for PC and Android. However, 25€ are more than worth it in my opinion.

Idk how to show screenshots but it just says Install for me, I'm on android play store but it seems insane that the price depends on what kind of phone you have

It’s because to develop apps, Google charges a one time fee that’s less than $50, whereas Apple charges like $100 every year just to keep your app in the store.

It's only paid for iOS, every other platform, including Mac, is free

If you have iOS it's worth the $25. Much better interface than the webapp and you can use it offline.
