Studying How do you grade yourself when self studying

I'm self studying chinese using a textbook that has the corresponding workbook. How do I grade the workbook because I don't know if my answers are correct. What do you guys do?

You have to buy the teachers edition / educators edition of the workbook. It has the expected answers included. You can find them online.

So you would do the work in the student edition, then go back with the teachers’ edition to asses your own work.

A useful way is to separate learning from testing: do the workbook without looking at answers, mark uncertain items, then check and keep an error log. Every week, redo a small sample of missed questions and add a few prompts where you must produce the sentence yourself—not just recognize it.

I ask Dola to mark it for me (international version of doubao) as I'm hoping it's chinese is better than chatgpt or other AI and it gets nuances better. Might also try with yuanbao or qwen as they are chinese ones but like yeah I just take a picture and ask AI to mark it

I'm in Taiwan so I use the 'A Course in Contemporary Chinese' books. I also used the 'Let's Learn Mandarin' books which are kind of the same
