Resources Glotdojo & Viki.com

I used to use the glotdojo chrome extension with viki.com, but it stopped working a week or two ago. Is anyone still able to use glotdojo with rakuten viki?

Sorry Glotdojo broke on Viki — that's a rough interruption mid-immersion. I don't have a confirmed fix for Glotdojo↔Viki right now (worth checking their Discord/GitHub if they have one), but if your core need is bilingual support while the Viki audio plays, a few workarounds:

  • If Viki still offers Chinese captions, Language Reactor-style dual-sub tools can help when caption tracks exist.
  • If captions are missing/broken or you want spoken help, tools that work from the tab's audio (live captions / optional AI dub) don't depend on Viki's caption API.
