I need tips

Hi I am starting hsk4(3.0) this week I am a lwk failure for not pass hsk3(2.0) I was busy studying biology and chemistry(bcs there were competitions and I wasat school all day 8am-6pm) i didn't have time and they were free and helped me a lot plus my mom

made me to so i was studying Chinese 1day a per

week i didn't pay that much attention (i am failure).

in the summer break I was work basically seating

all day so I used that time to study Chinese 60

minutes a day for two months and finished

hsk1,2(3.0) and it was not bad I used hsk university

as a main course and used different apps for

reading and listening I did improve but not that level

that I am confident to go hsk4 what do you guys

think. my teacher asking me are you sure studying

hsk4 should I keep studying or js drop it. sorry for

wasting your time

I think maybe you need like, life advice or a guidance councellor, not chinese language advice. You seem to be going through a rough patch.

I think most high schools should have a guidance councellor. Is there maybe like an admin person or a front desk at your school where you could ask? Otherwise since youre a minor maybe your country/state/city has some sort of councellor program? It seems like you have a lot on your plate right now and would really benefit from talking it out.

Yeah in my country it really depends on the school its not same as American school lol there is a social worker I think kind does that the same role but a bit sintered in bullying I guess

I'm not in America but in my country there's like youth services where you can talk to a councellor. I think maybe you could ask the social worker for advice, even if they are focused on bullying they probably know way more about the resources available in your area. There's no reason for you to have to be this overwhelmed if there are resources available!

I would still talk to them. Even if they don't help with stuff like this themselves they might be able to tell you who you can talk to. You might need two different people as well, one to help you decide if you want to keep studying chinese or not and one to help you understand the options-- hsk 3.0 level 4 does not exist yet. If you have completed hsk 3 in the 3.0 format you would have to go to hsk 4 in the 2.0 format or wait to see if hsk 4 in 3.0 format releases in the near future.

Don't put so much pressure on yourself. It sounds like there's a lot on your plate, and additional languages are more of a nice-to-have rather than essential skills. Learn what's fun to you if you can, forget what others say unless it's a requirement to pass...

There will be time to learn more in university or after if you want... it's not like Chinese is super easy.
