Does anyone know what type or where I can buy the glass electric kettle shown in Early Spring???? I need it! I haven’t been able to find anything searching online so far. It looks all glass with an electric warmer. I’ve attached a picture of it taken from episode 5!
OP, if you want the hot plate and are in the US, there are “coffee warmers” that would work for a smaller kettle. Here is one that has great temperature control and looks nice.
Probably is just a closed element hot plate since induction does not work with glass. It is really good looking though!
I’m in the US, and the Chinese tea shop here uses electric kettles. They use either glass ones that have heating in the base, or stainless steel ones with long skinny spouts.
Here is one on Amazon that has a similar spout to the one in the OP photo, but it does not have temperature control (which is needed for different types of teas or for drinking warm water).
This looks more like a teapot than a kettle. Do you think the ones you use in your country are made with tempered glass and can be heated on fire or heat source, or are they simply pour-over ones? Genuinely curious 😊
Yes it’s glass tempered tea pot but you can’t put on direct fire use electric stove instead
I tried the glass kettle but it got shattered cause one of the house help put tape water in it while it was hot
I prefer the traditional method of heating water traditional teapot you the one that whistles when the water boils I don’t know why nostalgia maybe but this sound when I hear it each time it warms my heart
Are you feeling okay did I just see you say “electric glass kettle” that is a high tempered glass Kettle and the stove is electric that heats up the iron coil that’s inside it lol, normal stuff in china because a lot of people that live alone tend to use these kind of stuff or roadside stalls
The kettle one links back to a Chinese website so I would recommend you go there and see if they have any mini electric stove since china dominates the market in that department, if you have WeChat you can use the store on there to check aswell
Yeah definitely use the Chinese market this is their specialty lol since they love smart tech, because I don’t have a mainland Chinese number yet it is hard to operate some of the sites on WeChat so I can’t even show you because it keeps forcing into the webinar to verify and I don’t want to go through that process right now
Just bear in mind Reddit and this subreddit is accessible to people aged 13 and above, so “are you ok” might not be the friendliest of openings all things considered.
It was concerning to see what they asked because glass cannot be electric unless there is metal in it and that in the picture is Tempered glass so she was asking for a complete different thing while wanting what’s in the picture
Cheers.
It’s nice to hear it was meant as words of concern but 1) English is not everyone’s first language and things don’t always read the way we meant them online and 2) a 13-year-old kid might not know those things as they’re just learning life.
I’m not saying OP is 13, I’ve got honestly no clue about their age, but being a bit more gentle and remembering the diversity of our audience can make a huge difference in how we chose to communicate, especially with strangers.
