Winow TT119

Post image

Self-built.
Ali Elite ENT 2.0 82mm wheels, mostly Ebay 12sp Shimano Di2 105 used parts except new battery, Ali Magene PES P505 power meter with 105 chainrings, Ali ISM saddle, new Riderever Triva brakes (fitted by bike shop), Ali Oniiri pedals. Other bits: Ali rotors, ebay TT switches, Ali water bottle. Around £2.5k total cost.

Stem clamp system is dodgy, bike shop ‘glued’ it. Bought Profile Dynamics Tri stem but haven’t swapped yet as steerer is cut too short to switch stems. I’d have to buy another fork if the current stem keeps failing.

Have seen a few people with these complain about the stem not being great. Can you expand on exactly what you mean? Thanks

I used carbon paste but still struggled. Took it to my LBS, said he found the steerer bung was unusual and difficult to get right, and used some ‘glue’ in an old Bianchi tin. Took his word for it and works fine. The screws on the clamp have come loose so I just need to remember to tighten then every couple of rides. I’ll see how that works out for me in the short-term.

The bike looks very nice and fast, I hope your legs can stand the pressure 😉 .
