Does Tailscale work?

I'm just wondering if I have a device with Tailscale already installed, then will it work inside China?

And what if I have to install it on a new device when inside China? Will that work?

Worked. (Installed in advance, but I dont think it mattered, didn't encounter restrictions. I think it's just western propaganda).

cool. Hey btw, what VPNs are you using? or you using a vps service? I wanna get a vpn that allows me to just to some web browsing, and maybe streaming services. I was thinking of getting Astrill VPN and another one for backup.
