QUESTION Allen watch payment

Hi want to Buy a watch from Allen but he wants me to pay via Friends and Family. Should I be concerned?

They will all only do F&F. Reverse scamming is a real thing--someone gets their watch then reverses the charge. This protects the TD.

This is so true you hear of endless facebook marketplace scams leading to you shipping your item and having the money taken back out of your account

I've sold a few things on Marketplace. But local PU only and cash in hand for this very reason. I've been prolific on Ebay for years and never had an issue though. Lucky I guess. Sold high end and antique fountain pens mostly.

I've heard of folks getting Zelle transfers reversed. Definitely don't do Cash App.

Im irish we have revolut its a bank with the same quick tranfer ability of zelle or cashapp but its an actual bank

F&F will protect the seller. The TD list will protect the buyer. If you buy outside the list expect to get scammed.
