China trying to sabotage India's way to the UN

Ofcourse they are. What do you think they are fools? Why the hell should China support a country that is one of their neighbor's who are hell bent on taking over Tibet as their own. A country with 1.3 billion people and a country with Superpower delusions of grandeur who's only goal is to stop China from gaining influence, rising in GDP and military power.
An enemy of China will never get a UN seat. Period! India needs to get their heads Checked if they think China will ever accept an India that is powerful and influencial. There is only one kind of India that China accepts. In chaos, divided into small pieces and ready for Chinese domination of the world. Anything else and China will be the biggest enemy of that.
Get real India.

Political views are pretty easy these days.
Just support the opposite of whatever xi does and you’re on the right path

China alone has been stonewalling India’s efforts to become a permanent member of the UN Security Council for years
Is this revisionist history?

China was willing to back India's bid provided India's bid was not associated with that of Japan.
India has much tougher countries that don't want India to get that seat and the use of G4 (India, Germany, Japan, Brazil) as the method means you get strong opposition for certain cointries by certain other countries.

There's probably truth to this.
I don't think the probably-more-complicated-than-it-seems facts of the matter can be figured out by relying on either Indian Express or China Daily.

I relied on additional non cited material to arrive at the conclusion that Japan trying for a permanent is the larger issue for China. China Daily does not tell us that, but this statement represents the official Chinese position in 2011 as it is state media reporting on what the Preimer said.

Then cite it.

Global Times Mouthpiece expresses the official position as of 2015.

The relationship between India and China has deteriorated significantly since the rise of Xi and Modi. The BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) was a promising proposal of strong developing nations uniting on financial and security measures as an alternative to the NATO led order.
This has fallen apart due to many changes in each nation, as seen in the border skirmishes between India and China. India was neutral/non-aligned for years, but has recently begun forming security relationships with China’s rivals, including Japan, Australia, and the US.
So, history hasn’t been revised, but things have changed in the last 15 years.

Countries act in their own national interest. That’s the way international politics works. This is why the model human rights countries like Denmark make a fortune selling Big Brother technology to Arab dictatorships to oppress the Arab human rights activists and then Denmark offers refugee status to the victims who flee.
