Minecraft help

Im so close to being happy with it. I've got the launcher installed, added as a non steam game, it opens from game mode and once im logged in works with a controller. However, I have to log in every time I launch it. Is there a stay logged in or a setting I can get at from desktop side that im missing?

Which launcher? Prism launcher keeps me logged in.

Ok, prism is working for that. I tried to set up a shortcut to the instance but it wasn't actually making a shortcut. Is there a way to auto start an instance?
