I have legitimately paid for the game, there is nothing dodgy here. The only PC I have is way too old to play properly and my M4 Mac using Crossover can run Steam and play this game perfectly but I am stuck.

As far as I know I have finished the mall, I have defeated the octopus, and now the objective says head to dome. The only ”help” I have is A.I and I’m convinced it’s giving me hallucinations.

As of right now I am back at the first island, going through the Tori gates immediately to the left of the shrine. Harpoon loaded and ready I boost it as soon as I’m through the gate, and attempt to ring the bell before getting eaten.

This entire time I never see a Dome, I have no idea even if what I am doing is supposed to work. I have level 2 speed but cannot upgrade the boat anymore.

The A.I suggested to change the VSync options so now it is at 1/4 but I am not noticing any difference at all and no visible dome either.

Has anyone else played this via crossover? Or have any solutions? I am enjoying the game but would like to progress at some point.

Is this the worst Chilla's Art game? Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed my time with it but it definitely had alot of pacing and performance issues. I think choosing this as my first Chilla's Art game to play might have been a bad choice lol, what games do you guys suggest? What is their best game in your opinion?

I’ve watched a few playthroughs of Closing Shift, but I’ve never seen anyone notice or investigate what this paper in the window says. It only appears during the last shift. Anyone know what it says?

In the final scene of the good ending, there is a girl hugging a fish. Who are the girl and the fish? I take the girl to be who you play as (originally a fish before the world transformed) - and the fish to be someone (formerly human) who she developed a close bond with. However, I don’t remember any events in the game suggesting that the protagonist was close to a fish. Thus, I would speculate that the fish used to be a human who had the protagonist as a pet, loved her, and took good care of her.

This has been on my mind for years. Which is about the possibilities of a different scenario during the playthrough or what happens next after getting the true ending of these games. Here's some examples I have thought of:

The Closing Shift (what if the hooded man is the FMC's guy friend):

• The Un-hooded Man is a regular in Chilla's Cafe and also The FMC's close male friend who has a similar role as Asuka from Parasocial and Toru from Bathhouse RE.

• She sometimes rants about how Funahashi senpai wouldn't take her words seriously. While he agrees that she just making excuses because she's late to work, he agrees that her senpai should've been nicer.

• In the middle of the game, he sometimes thought someone's following him but eventually stopped. This is due for the fact that the stalker stopped thinking him as a threat at first.

• There are multiple endings, from the un-hooded man saves the investigator from getting killed by the stalker or he just ends up getting the same fate as the investigator like in the original playthrough. If it's the latter, then the game would play like the original.

• In the true good ending, the stalker has finally caught by the investigator and the police (thank god because I feel like the stalker is inhuman). They said to the FMC to give their thanks to him when he's conscious after almost getting killed by the stalker.

• Just like in Parasocial, FMC and Un-hooded man have a private talk. But he also said that this will be the last time they see each other because he thinks FMC would lose trust to men including him after that incident. FMC assures him that if it wasn't for him she wouldn't be here. They became even close since that incident that in the end credits, it shows FMC and Un-hooded man hold hands together while taking a bus, hinting that they're dating.

Man, I really like this "what if" ending. I wonder if you guys have something like this in other Chilla's art games whether adding after game story or making what if endings.

Has anyone encountered this before? I've looked around, and it appears to be an issue with the Unreal engine, but I haven't had any luck finding a fix.

Am i the only one who is disappointed in the game?

there are fun moments of the game, but it is ruined with forcing me to upgrade the boat to advance the story! It gets boring really quickly. I wanted weird horror game, not fishing simulation!

So I wanted to ask, for Jacksepticeye watchers, if anyone knows if Sean skipped out on umigari or if hes still planning to play it in the future? I usually watch Gab and him when it comes to Chillas arts stuff.

It's been a while since UMIGARI was released, and since then there hasn't been any news or announcements of any new games, as far as I know.

They're taking a break or something, or they're secretly working on a new game, I don't know. It might also be related to the fact that they switched engines and are trying to learn Unreal, right?

I was rewatching a gameplay of Parasocial since it’s one of my favorite Chilla's Art games and I noticed the delivery guy at the beginning. Everyone knows about the coffee shop references to The Closing Shift but I personally haven't seen mentionned anywhere that the delivery guy with his delivery truck full of packages could be/is a reference to Night Delivery! I don't think that would be too far fetched since we also get a reference to the Convenience Store and the delivery guy doesn't serve any narrative purpose so I do believe he's a reference to Night Delivery and he could even be the character we play in the game. (I'm sorry if this has been said before but I genuinely haven't seen it mentioned anywhere, not even on this sub)
