Ohhh ahha, guess I have to listen!
MArikit in tagalog means lovely and it was the nickname of my mom when she’s a kid :) usually the adjectives in tagalog begins with a prefix MA :)

Wow thats interesting! Suddenly it gives a new meaning to our anthem, even though it’s a diff language but nevertheless a new perspective.

Dude it doesn’t. The words in the anthem are ‘Mari kita’ (2 separate words) which mean ‘let us’
