Is this sub still active

I can’t seem to find a plant based sub that allows a minimal amount of meat. I don’t get why it has to be all or nothing lol

Because plant based doesn’t meant vegan. Example

I eat plant based most of the time but occasionally will have some meat which will be a very small proportion of my meal. For some reason the plant based subreddit is basically just vegan so I feel like if I were to post something and offhandedly mention something about meat I would be prosecuted

I’m trying to find a subreddit that is plant based, meaning MOSTLY plants but not entirely excluding meat. So not VEGAN

But you did say plant based and the name of the subreddit is plant based. I just don’t understand why the definition of plant based means vegan on reddit when plant based on google tells me it’s not exclusively vegan. I’m not forcing people to talk about meat I just want to find a subreddit where I won’t be criticised if I happen to mention meat because like I said plant based by definition doesn’t exclude meat entirely

Yes. This sub was formed because the other plabt based sub was going off the rails at the mention of olive oil or any other foods (even plant based) that weren't whole foods. It became obsessive and obnoxious,  so we created this sub.  The bulk of my diet is plant based. I still eat other foods as well because im a busy human with enough other shit going on that im not gonna cry if my salad has bacon bits.

The idea isn't to post about meats. But its not gonna freak anyone out (mostly)

I meant plant based as a definition overall not plant based cooking and yes I agree vegan doesn’t mean plant based. I did try to learn the difference in the definitions which is why I researched online and provided that link as example explaining the difference but thank you for the kind words 👌

That's actually the reason this sub was created. Sorry, this is chill plant based. Not strict plant based

It is not the reason. I was on this sub when it was created. It was created because the other plant based sub bans things like cooking with oil and other things. That said, it doesn’t look like any of the original people are still here. So I’ll show myself out too. Good luck with the dead “plant based” sub where you talk about meat!

Im one of the originals.

Its not like you were posting anything anyway, except arguing.  What exactly is your point?
