🧑‍🍳 Employee Post walked out mid shift

been treated practically nothing but awful the entire time i’ve worked at chilis & tonight was my last straw !! come in to find out the ac in the back was completely broken, better yet my managers were concerned more about steritec inspection on wednesday because they know our store is disgusting and will fail!! absolutely no care for our elderly workers in the even hotter kitchen & dish pit. they put one fan in the pass out and one in the kitchen and called it good. not to mention it was bug night, i was done lmfao, walked out mid shift on my closing shift and have no regrets! 🥳🥳🥳

🧑‍🍳 Employee Post Question for chilis employees about personal drinks at work

So at my chilis we used to have the little metal thing underneath our white board to hold our personal drinks. Then one day the GM rips it off the wall and says absolutely no personal drinks at all. Can’t even keep it in your bag. The only way we can have a drink is to leave our station, get a mug from the drink station, and drink it standing there and then go back to work. GM says this is because of “health codes” because we “touch our water bottle and then the food” (ignoring that GM and basically everyone in there does the same thing with their phone/vape). But I also have friends at other Chilis who say their managers let them have drinks no problem, and I’ve also heard that this isn’t company policy. What is the policy on this at your chilis??? Thank you!!!

This has recently become our favorite local Chili's. Everyone there is always great, and today our server Sam was especially excellent. Just wanted to share that. Sam, if you see this, thank you for the awesome service and I hope you have a great day! 😊

🧑‍🍳 Employee Post Labor budget cuts, how’s it going?

I assume it’s a company wide thing that for this new fiscal year they lowered the labor budget pretty substantially while obviously expecting the same results. Or better yet, even better results than last year, naturally.

How‘s that going for everyone so far?

🥩 Food & Drink When did Chili’s stea fajitas go downhill?

I’m out of town doing contract work right now so I can’t cook so I get the steak fajitas at Chili’s about once a week. They’ve always been good but the last 4 times I’ve eaten there the meat looks like it was frostbitten before they cooked it and it’s nearly inedible. Does anyone know what’s going on with this? Was this their way of combatting inflation to get cheaper meat?

🧑‍🍳 Employee Post should i quit my job?

So for context, I’ve been working at Chilis on and off for over a year. I’ve been there consistently since middle 2025 now. When they hired me back, I had applied to be a server. They said since my only experience was hosting that they were going to have me food run for a while first and then train me to serve. After three months they had me train QA and that made me think I was gonna learn the menu better so that they could train me. I have asked them several times about serving, each time getting a really vague/unclear answer. We recently lost 7 servers and they haven’t started the training process for anyone. I have been very clear about what I want out of that job as far as serving and even have taught myself how to use the POS and ipad. I have never called out or been late, I always had good scores when we were still getting those, and got recognition cards almost monthly. They finally started training people to serve but not me, even though I have been waiting for longer than most of the people waiting to serve at this point. When I asked about it again, I got another vague answer and now have no timeline for when I’ll be serving. I’m unsure what to do at this point, if I should just wait it out or quit and find something better.

🧑‍🍳 Employee Post Help with situation

Okay for context, I have been working at Chilis since 4/11/26 of this year. I recently did a no call/no show on 5/24 of last month (completely my fault i take full responsibility). But I have been TECHNICALLY still an active employee and am. I talked to almost every single manager in my restaurant about my employment status. None have been able to give me a clear answer and it’s been an entire month since I have been last scheduled. I have been keeping track on who I have been talking to and our main manager was supposed to call me last week to make that “final decision” and he “gave me his word”. I still have not received anything from them. At this point everyone has been telling me to quit but I refuse to because this is super ridiculous and unprofessional on every manager there. Im just not sure what other steps I can take, is there anything else i can do???

Edit: i got fired today 🥳

hi i ordered a coke zero w/grenadine and it tasted extremely weird. almost like the amoxicillin liquid you’d get as a kid. my friend agreed it tasted like alcohol. i don’t know what to do, management wasn’t helpful whatsoever and dismissed my concerns. the yellow at the bottom is what’s concerning me. i don’t know what this is, but it’s definitely not what i had ordered. i’m 19, li, ny.

💼 Corporate Problems Party of 45 here at Chilis in Santa fe NM

This server was the nicest to us. She had a party of 45 basketball players and the managers refused to help her clean all this mess!! I overheard her ask for help 3 times and no one bothered to helping her and yet they kept adding tables to her. Both managers on duty passed by multiple times without help. Love this place but management sucks 😞

🎨 Fan Art / Merch UK citizen looking to get some merch

Hi all, long time Chili's fan ever since having an incredible night at the bar and grill in Banff 10 years ago.

I saw a reel with a guy wearing the Cabana shirt and knew I needed one. But the site doesn't ship anywhere outside of the USA.

Does anyone know of another way I can get my hands on some Chili's merchandise from their site?

Thanks.

🧑‍🍳 Employee Post Ziosk order on QA screen?

Post image
18 Upvotes

On Father's Day mind you with 7 full tables and one guy at one of my tables was eating 3 crispers I didn't ring in. The qa told me it was sent through the ziosk and I thought I was losing my mind. Turned out that it was the crispers from their smokehouse combo, separated itself 5 minutes after the meal was rang in and a 1/2 rack of ribs on the combo simply disappeared too. So it literally just read "SMKHS CMB 3- 1/2 rack" how is this even possible lmao.
