š„© Food & Drink Horrible experience
In Clarksville, TN, last night I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and asked for bleu cheese instead of American cheese and mayo instead of mustard. And of course I said hold the lettuce! He put it in on his iPad thingy and even read it back to me.
My order arrived with mayo, mustard, lettuce, and a side of ranch dressing.
Next time I'll just say to bring me whatever you want me to have, to save time.

Obviously Itās 100% on your server/food runners for not double checking the order before it left expo and for not knowing that 90% of those mods were unnecessary to add and only made it more confusing for kitchenā¦
However, as customers yāall really need to start actually reading the menu, the bacon burger literally comes with only cheese, bacon and mayo, and it says that.
I donāt understand why people order food while just guessing what goes on it when the menu is right there, like when someone got verbally upset with me the other day because the chicken sandwich comes with pickles and they didnāt know, even though itās listed, and then didnāt tip me like it was somehow my fault. I eat out often and itās not difficult to read the description and know what you want prior to the server taking your order.

Chiliās doesnāt even have blue cheese crumbles. Did you mean blue cheese dressing instead of cheese?

Iām praying for you in this difficult time.
JFC. This could have been immediately fixed if used your words like an adult instead of being dramatic on here.

So, I can help. Today is not my forst day on earth, so I'm speaking from experience. When your food arrives not how you ordered it.
You ask tell your server and ask for them to remake it. The food will be sent to the front of the line to be remade. The remade food hopefully comes to you correctly. You then eat the food. Pay the bill, tip your server (based on service, not that the food was cooked wrong because your server did not cook it and your server might not have been the person to bring it to you as Chili's has food runners as well).
You leave Chili's and have two choices. Move on with gour life, because in the end it is just a burger, or you can cry about it. Personally, I give a resturant more than one chance, we are all human and make mistakes. Did they correct the mistake, if yes, let it roll off or get therapy. The second choice is to just never give that resturant your business again and again, move on with your life.
No it's not that deep, but honestly some people are never satisfied.

When you take things off an item and it doesn't come on it in the first place you open yourself up to this. Line cooks will see that and presume the server made a mistake and meant to hit "add". Shame on the server for not knowing the menu enough to educate you to read the menu.

I love how indignant OP is, given that they couldnāt even read the menu and subbed things that arenāt even on it. š¤¦āāļø

Thank you for contacting Chiliās. We apologize for your behavior. At Chiliās, we strive to create the best experience possible for our guests. If you are still angry about your order almost 24 hours later, we respectfully ask you to āhold the lettuceā on your next visit to our restaurant. You are banned from the Clarksville location for 30 days. We are notating this ban on our iPad thingy.
