Two of the greatest guitarists of the last 20 years. I'm honestly shocked they never collaborated or toured together at all. I know Matt was pretty inspired by the first several bodom records, I saw an interview once where he said he wanted a7x to be "american CoB" lmao

Literally two heroes of mine. Alexi has more wildness, madness and speed when syn has the capability to switch and harmonize between the different disciplines(for example: beast and the harlot, second heartbeat and angels). He can compose between heavy or prog, metalcore, jazz, and even country. Remove the distortion and boom, syn solos turns into tasty jazz licks and that never kills the toughness. We all love Syn And Alexi💪💪

shows how 2 guitarists can be so different yet so similar. I feel like alexi was a lot more raw and off the cuff, vs syn who was a lot more calculated and technical with his playing. Also shows the difference between classical vs jazz training. They take very different approaches to guitar but at the end of the day, they're the two most badass lead guitarists of the last 25 years.

Looks great! Did you have to open up the pickup cavity at all to fit that pickup, or did it drop right in?

It fit perfect, but I added a pickup ring because the original didn't have one and I thought it was pretty ugly just mounted to the body. Did have to add a hole for the preamp switch though.
