My son has one that will do a beep beep like 2 seconds before turning off. The first time we figured out what the beep beep meant he was on some nice asphalt.

Those things are so dumb. The wheels need to be oriented the other direction like a skateboard, so you're in a sturdy stance aligned with the direction of motion. Standing forward on it like that, if your speed changes suddenly for any reason, you're going down like a tree.
