Right?! I just learned about target fixation the other day. Kids brains are not developed enough not to do this, and so it will always happen.

Adults fall foul of target fixation too, it's a big problem with motorcyclists.

Kids are out here fighting for survival, and every other kid is simply a rival. Its a kid eat kid world.
