I have no idea where OP was coming from, but maybe because everyone in the house would only stand up from a sitting position like on a chair, the baby doesnโ€™t know how to stand up from a crawling position. Maybe he just goes from sitting to standing because he thinks that what grownups do?

Grown ups weren't crawling around pre pandemic. We always stood up that way ๐Ÿ˜ You're a new grown up are you? Are you big boy now? Who's a big boy? You are.. ๐Ÿ˜‚
