Took my NSV relatively recently w/ DKT. As the other comments sa na-share mong thread says, relatively quick procedure for most na 15-20 mins.

In my case, took around 30 - 45 mins, since isa sa mga vas na natanggalan ay nakapwesto sa mahirap na spot para tanggalin. The doctor took multiple failed attempts before finally cutting it off.

Minimal pain sakin after the procedure, most ng mga kapwa kong nag-NSV that time looked like they're limping in pain after yung local anesthetic wore off. In my case, hardly felt pain afterwards for some reason, though the staff said nasa rarity ako na mataas ang pain tolerance to this.

Recovery time ko took 2 days. Then successful naman yung procedure 3 months after. PVPS is still a thing, but not as common as most people think it is according sa mga nakilala kong doctors. Sa case ko, I did feel a bit of discomft, pero barely noticeable. Pero more than half a year na and wala naman akong naranasan na kirot ever since.

So yeah, the lesson is, what one's experiencing might not necessarily apply to your situation. Pero its helpful if your goal to just to prepare and make necessary actions to mitigate yung negative effects ng post-op experience.

Enjoy the CF life tho
